A learning outcome that this picture describes is analyze the context and purpose of a writing problem. 1. What happened here is because of finishing McGraw Hill Connect, I am now confident in my ability to properly write and revise. 2. It happened because it is important to know proper spelling, grammar, and sentence structure when writing a paper. 3. What can be learned from this is how to write a paper that flows good, and does not have any technical errors.

A learning outcome that this picture describes is work effectively with others to produce and/or revise written materials. 1. What happened here is Drew and I were discussing what we needed to do for our research paper. 2. It happened because we wanted to brainstorm together to come up with good ideas for the paper. 3. What can be learned from this is that taking time to come up with a plan for your paper before you write it is important.

A learning outcome that describes this picture is adapt to the workplace and produce a variety of written documents as required. 1. What happened in this picture is Ben and I were working hard to finish up our unit 4 papers and we were beginning our final projects. 2. This happened because we wanted to take our time and work hard for a good grade. 3. For the future I now know how important it is to make sure all of my work is done properly and efficiently.

A learning outcome of this picture is to edit a document for a consistent point of view, standard grammar usage, mechanics and punctuation. 1. What happened in this picture was my group peer reviewing each others unit papers and we were trying to come up with ideas on how to structure the papers in the best way to make them sounds clear and organized. 2. This happened because it was required and because we needed good grades on our papers so we could do well in the class. 3. From this, we learned the proper steps groups must take to effectively turn people's rough drafts into high level papers.

A learning outcomes is to assess sources and information. 1. What's happening in this picture is Drew and I are searching the web and analyzing possible ad campaigns we can write about for our unit 2 papers. 2. This is happening because it was important that we find an ad campaign that we know enough about to write a good paper on it. 3. Something that can be learned from this is to pick an ad best for the person. Each person should quickly come up with a plan for their paper for each potential ad campaign and then pick the best ad.

A learning outcome in this picture is develop ideas and find reliable sources for their writing. 1. What's happening in this picture is I am trying to find reliable resources that relate to my research question in the unit 4 paper. 2. This is happening because if I were to write a research paper without relevant and trustable sources, my paper would not even be worth reading. 3. I learned from this that it is very important to compare many sources when choosing them so that you get a chance to read many different writers opinions.

A learning outcome in this picture is develop ideas and find reliable resources for their writing. 1. What's happening in this picture is almost everyone is typing research entries for the upcoming PR session. 2. Everyone is doing this because it is important to have your work reviewed part way through a paper like this so you know you are doing it correctly. 3. Something to be learned from this is how to use examples and rubrics to type a proper rough draft of a research paper.

A learning outcome of this picture is to improve their content and style using feedback and revision. 1. Alicia is using the feedback given by Dr. Pavletic to revise her unit 2 paper. 2. She is doing this because it is essential to edit the most important parts of our papers if we want to significantly improve our grade. 3. Something that can be learned from this is how to properly reconstruct writing in the most efficient way.

A learning outcome in this picture is demonstrating reflection and awareness of their own writing processes. 1. In this picture people are workshopping and working on their unit 3 reflections. 2. This is happening because workshopping time is important as it gives everyone opportunities to catch up on assignments. 3. Something that can be learned from this is how to efficiently use workshop time.

The learning outcome she is displaying is she is choosing appropriate methods of organizing effectively. 1. What's happening in this picture is Catie's suite mate is making edits to a paper on grammar and punctuation. 2. This is happening because it is important to make necessary edits on papers otherwise the reader could get confused by incorrect grammar and punctuation. 3. Something that can be learned from this is how to find errors and make adjustments that need to be made.

The learning outcome here is identifying and locating proper information. 1. What's happening in this picture is the Librarian showing all of our class how to use the library data base to find sources. 2. This is happening because we needed to know the best way to find good sources for our paper. 3. Something that can be learned from this is how to use search tools to find sources with specific keywords that are best for your search.

A learning outcome in this picture is analyzing the writing situation and choose appropriate methods of organizing effectively. 1. What's happening in this picture is Samantha is working on the rhetorical triangle to choose an ad campaign. 2. This is happening because this is the best technique we had available to choose a good ad campaign for our unit 2 paper. 3. Something that can be learned from this is how to best choose an ad campaign that can be easily written about in a paper.

A learning outcome is to analyze and define the needs of their intended audience. 1. What's happening in this picture is everyone is reading their explanations of their hero to try and get on the team of 8 people to save the world. 2. This is happening because the activity was meant to give us ideas for our paper of that unit. 3. Something we learned from this is how to be creative and think outside the box for good ideas.

A learning outcome of this picture is to choose words and tone of voice appropriate to a given audience. 1. What's happening in this picture is the person in the picture dressed as the character he was assigned to. 2. This is happening because the professor wanted us to better experience out character by becoming the character. 3. Something that can be learned from this is how to use real world thinking and apply to writing.

A learning outcome in this picture is developing ideas and finding reliable resources. 1. Everyone is busy looking for resources that will best answer our research questions, and are the most reliable. 2. We are doing this because we wanted our research papers to be valid and also to answer our research questions as well as possible. 3. Something that everyone learned from this is that when picking sources, you must be careful which sources can actually help your paper.

1. This English class was different than what I expected because it provided many new challenges in writing that I have not come across before. It has also taught me many new things and has made me a much better writer. 2. Things I have learned in the process of composition are how to properly structure my sentences so they are not too wordy, sound correct, but get all of my information across. I have also learned many different types of sentences and these things have helped me become better. 3. What I have learned will always continue to help me with anything I am writing. It is always best to write in ways that allow people to understand you, and look professional. This class has allowed me to do that. 4. This class has taught me many things about myself as well. I have learned that when I really focus, I can write things that people really find interesting. I have also learned that I like to procrastinate, but you can not do that with a paper. This has taught me to pace myself and work through my papers until they are perfect.
