"Today, close to 250 million children are working in the world. More than 150 million of these children are working in dangerous conditions" (Child Labour) "Child Labour." Here in the United States, there are laws to protect children from harsh working environments. But in some third world places, seeing a child work is normal. The main purpose of this informational project is to show you the negative effects of child labor.

Effects of Child Labor (Mentally)

  • Traumatic Effects
  • Long hours of work harms a child's social and educational developments
  • Likely to drop out of school
  • Problematic behavior
  • Sleep deprivation

Effects of Child Labor (Physically)

  • Rapid skeletal growth
  • Greater need for food and rest
  • Working with dangerous tools
  • Lack of skill (makes it dangerous)
  • Greater risk of hearing loss
  • Lack of adult supervision

The main purpose of this informational project was to show you the dangerous effects of child labor. In conclusion, child labor has many negative effects about it, both mentally and physically.
