Marilyn Manroe By; Elise and cara

Marilyn Monroe (Norma Jeane Mortensen) was born June 1st 1926, and died August 5th 1962. She grew up in a foster home in Los Angeles with two foster parents and a brother. Her mother put her into a foster home because she wasn’t able to take care of Marilyn herself. She worked in a factory and got married at the age of 16. She was then introduced to a photographer and that was around the same time her modelling career took off. After receiving many minor film roll opportunities, she got a contract from fox in 1951. Monroe’s private life received lots of attention because of her trouble with depression and anxiety.

Marilyn monroe is a role model to us because she was able to become a model, actress and one of the most beautiful women of her generation without having any surgery or botox or any changes to her body. She is a rolemodel to us because she represents beauty, and how she managed to fight depression throughout her life is inspiring. Even though her death is still not confirmed and is assumed suicide we think that she accomplished many great things while she was still alive
