RP ANALYSIS: A very impressive performance from this winner back to 2m. ENERGUMENE beat a good horse here in most impressive fashion and looks ready to take on the best over 2m to 2m4f. Setting out to make all, he put in a fine round of jumping, Townend got a nice breather into him after the third last and when he asked him to pick up again after the second last he did it in a matter of strides. It was a really impressive performance on ground he clearly appreciates and how he will go against top class opposition on better ground is a question, despite the fact that he won his point on good ground. But he is clearly a considerable talent and may well be kept at this distance.
