Last night, I learned that sometimes 'Good Enough' isn't good enough. I thought that a poster and a prototype was 'Good Enough', but good enough, in reality is a STYLISH poster, and a STYLISH prototype. Next year, I plan on being more involved in this project.
I also learned that the engineering and design process is not easy. You must be prepared to encounter obstacles. Only rarely will you be able to coast through. The same applied to last nights convention. I had to be able to answer any question, and present myself as knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
What I learned about myself, is that I am not that great of a group person. I worked by myself on the prototype, and left the poster to my teammates.
