Our Little Pirate Athletes had the pleasure of attending DASH - Differently Abled School Heroes event in Beeville on April 20th along with staff, volunteers and some of their biggest fans! Students competed in the bean bag toss, softball throw, long jump, limbo, 40-50 yard dashes, pick a duck and a fun obstacle course. In addition to these events, each "hero" received a ribbon for each activity they participated in as well as a free T-shirt and a medal inscribed with the words, "If you had fun, you won!" Everyone of our Little Pirates was a winner at this 'Special Olympics' event.
