2021-22 School Calendar

For those that missed previous communication in December, you can find the approved 2021-22 CALENDAR on our website, as well as the revised 2020-21 CALENDAR.

Parent Satisfaction Survey Coming Soon

To continue our journey to excellence in this area, we gather data from stakeholders to determine where we are as a district and to set and act on realistic, measurable goals for continuous improvement. The Parent Satisfaction Survey allows parents to provide feedback on their experience with their child’s school. This year’s survey window will be open from February 3 through February 17. Each school will be sharing a unique link to their respective parent population at some point during the week of February 3. If you do not receive a link, please contact the building administrator of the respective school your child(ren) attend. Thank you in advance for making time to complete the survey and provide feedback around your experiences with our schools, which should take no more than five (5) minutes. As a reminder, the window to provide feedback will remain open through February 17, 2021.

Winter Student Pulse Survey Results

Similar to the pulse survey sent out to parents in October, we recently surveyed our students and shared the results. Building leadership teams have analyzed the results and have written several action steps to support continued growth in the areas of student satisfaction and engagement. Students will receive a more robust survey in March and will once again be administered a pulse survey in May.

Kindergarten Registration

Four-year-old kindergarten (4K) and five-year-old kindergarten (5K) online registration begins February 1st! Please let your neighbors with young children know and save the date. Additional registration information can be found on the Muskego-Norway Schools website. Registration will remain open, however we ask that families register by the end of March to help with planning and student placement. Placement is not a first come first served system.

In addition, please save the date and watch for additional information regarding our 4K Parent Information Night. This event will be hosted virtually on March 11, 2021 from 5:30-6:30 pm. As the spring months approach, we will also be sharing information regarding our Kindergarten Splash events to welcome incoming 5K students for the 2021-2022 school year.

Summer School Registration

Mark your calendars as parents will be able to register their student(s) for Muskego High School summer school courses during the window of February 5 through February 12. Registration details for our K-8 Summer Learning Academy are still being planned.

We are incredibly thankful for the parent and community partnerships that have demonstrated patience, care and compassion as we responded to the pandemic. Our system's decisions focused on students and staff and prioritized school safety. Your contributions have helped our district accomplish the remarkable while working under the unusual. We are proud of how we have all endured. We kept people safe, provided options, preserved in-person instruction, valued our staff and kept our eye on our mission to ensure that every student learns, grows and succeeds. It hasn’t been easy. We continue to work hard to make it through the challenging environment as we always do, TOGETHER.

Wishing each of you and your loved ones a happy, safe and hopeful New Year!

With Gratitude,

Muskego-Norway Schools

Dr. Kelly Thompson, Superintendent
