Our Home in Temecula Our passion

My wife and I moved into our home in 1989. In the front there was only the lawn. Over the years we put in a lot of hard work together planning and planting our garden. It is a passion of ours. While I was off at work, my wife plannned and planted what she could and when I got home I did the havey digging.

We have over 100 roses in our yard. For most of the time Gizella my wife, took care of the yard. She has the green thumb. As you will see in the photos that I will post.

We spend many hours a day in our yard. It's all pleasure. I'm retired now and I get to work along side my wife. She doesn't have to do it alone.

It is a lot of work and you have to have the passion to do it. It is a constant job to keep it growing and pruning.

We weren't sure what we were going to do if we didn't get the rain that we did. For one thing it was a god send, because it gave a whole new life to our garden. The rain was able to water deep into the ground and help the root system. Plain watering doesn't get down deep like when it rains.

Following are some arrangements my wife put together. She always has great pleasure of putting these arrangements together. Even the time of year when the flowers are scarce she somehow fine them and makes a beautiful arrangement.

Gizella, each morning gathers her arrangements and redoes them and goes though the garden and picks fresh ones. She has been doing this as long as I can remember.
