  • This Wednesday, join the next virtual installment of the “Bringing the University to You” series, featuring Dr. Scott Manning Stevens, who will address “Native America and the Other Border.” Details below.
  • Our “Liberation in the Americas’ Virtual Lecture Series presents its final installment this Thursday. The topic is “Gender Violence and Peacemaking in Latin America.” Find out more below.
  • How is your green thumb? Why not try your hand at helping our TAMIU Community Garden to grow? Volunteers meet every Wednesday at 5 p.m. This Wednesday only, you and your canine companion can join and see what’s growing on. On-Campus Testing Continues Tuesday and Wednesday, March 23 - 24

COVID-19 Testing continues at TAMIU and is available Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. You can schedule your COVID-19 test through either Curative or Binax (rapid) testing.

We're excited to be part of 'Keep It On' Laredo, a community-based endeavor that promotes the use of face coverings to help slow the spread of COVID-19.

TAMIU Grad School Offers Virtual Meet and Greet Sessions

Individuals with an interest in pursing a Master's degree are invited to connect with their respective program advisor, ask questions and enter for a chance to win a $2,000 scholarship raffle. The application fee will be waived for all participants.

TAMIU's 'Bringing the University to You' Lecture Series Slated for Wednesday

Indigenous American scholar Dr. Scott Manning Stevens will speak about “Native America and the Other Border” discussing the complexities of the indigenous American experience during the upcoming "Bringing the University to You" virtual lecture.

TAMIU's 'Liberation in the Americas' Virtual Lecture Series concludes Thursday

The final virtual lecture in the 'Liberation in the Americas' series explores the topic: “Gender Violence and Peacemaking in Latin America.” Dr. Juan Carlos Sanchez Sierra, Dr. Pamela Neumann and Sister Rosemary Welsh will share their knowledge and perspectives during this lecture.
