The Story Of Us Resurrection life est 1989

The year was 1989 the people were 11 families that simply had a desire for more of God and not more of religion. They wanted a deep and intimate relationship with God that also translated into changing the world around them and making it better.

James & Tish Hickman were SBC pastor for years and began hungering for more of God and that lead to the baptism of the Holy Spirit and all that He entails. There were so crazy days that some crazy things that happened. Good, Bad and Ugly. But the journey continued as more people began see the hunger in them and they wanted some of what they had.

People from all around the city of Picayune began to talk about what was happening at this new church. Some said it was a cult, some said it wouldn't last and others just didn't pay it any mind. No one could deny that the church was bringing life to people and to the city.

In 2000 RLM started Manna Ministry and began to give out food to the hunger and clothes to the poor. People were being loved and cared for where as before they were going hungry and cold. It's hard to tell someone about the Love of Jesus when they are hungry and are struggling to put clothes on their children's back. And since then Manna has grown to be a multi-facted ministry reaching beyond it's walls and it's territorial boundaries to reach thousands and thousand of people.
