Teacher page: In order for this WebQuest to work, have brochures already folded, labeled, and have a map glued on the back of the brochure. The brochure labels should include: James River Facts, Where the James River is Located, and George Washington and the James River. This will help guide students on what information they should gather and record from this WebQuest. There should be plenty of time set aside for the students to work on this, roughly 45 minutes to an hour. If there are students in your class who struggle with writing, allow them to draw pictures or print out information that they found to put in their brochure. If students also struggle with reading, students can pair up to make a brochure together. This will also save some time if you are not able to set aside an hour.
