World Exploration

The so-called Age of Exploration was a period from the early 15th century and continuing into the early 17th century, during which European ships were traveled around the world to search for new trading routes and partners to feed burgeoning capitalism in Europe

One cause of world exploration was that there were great tales of riches in the "New World", because of that Spain became one of the richest nations in Europe. Another cause is that, explorers promised the king that they would convert to Christianity, they effect of that was, Christianity became the first religion in the Americas. Also traveling to the "New World" led to fame so the nations that traveled to the Americas grew in power and territory.

triangular trading system is the transatlantic slave trade, that operated from the late 16th to early 19th centuries, carrying slaves, cash crops, and manufactured goods between West Africa, Caribbean or American colonies and the European colonial powers.

Causes of triangle trade in Africa was that millions of Africans were forced to the Americas they wanted to enhance there status and bought weapons. The effect of that was that they exchanged weapons for slaves and the communities became very violent. Causes of triangle trade in Europe was they wanted to compete with Muslims, they had massive imports of sugar and they only had black slaves, because of that Europe craved taste of sugar they had cheaply made goods they killed many indigenous people and had new European diseases. A cause in the Americas was that sugar cultivation required laborers, money, and equipment. That made them import slaves and equipment and they did that in large numbers and eventually racism started.

Explorer and navigator Christopher Columbus was born in 1451 in the Republic of Genoa, Italy. His first voyage into the Atlantic Ocean in 1476 nearly cost him his life. Columbus participated in several other expeditions to Africa. In 1492 Columbus left Spain in the Santa Maria, with the Pinta and the NiƱa along side.

Some Causes of Christopher Columbus was that he called Native Americans Indians, He wanted money so he told the king he knew a shortcut, also increased Spanish power. His effects was Spain became very powerful, He explored the Caribbean and lastly he was a hero to Spain which made them richer.
