The Delaware colony was founded by Peter Minuit in 1638. Delaware was named after the Delaware river name that was delivered by Sir Thomas west.

Delaware practiced was protestant but because they practiced tolerance in religions they practiced many other religions. they have religious freedom in Delaware. Some of the religions that they practice are Quakers, Catholics, Jews and more.

The weather in Delaware is usually warm during January-September and starts getting warmer in October-December. its a small amount of land and there is not alot of room to put a lot of things. The land sits on a low, flat coastal plain.

Delawares economy started with trade and then in the 1600s the economy quickly grew into large manufacturing. They also grew crops like corn, wheat, barley, potatoes, peas, apples, green house nursery products. another thing they did was have livestock. They used the milk, eggs and things like that from the animals.
