Junior, Cassie Kuerschen is now committed to the University of Tennessee to play volleyball, but it wasn’t easy getting there. “It took a lot of hard work but I also enjoy playing and working so the time training has flown by and my coaches at K2 also have helped and supported me,” Kuerschen said.
Kuerschen chose UTK because it felt like home and they were the first major D1 school that reached out. “The coaching staff also really pursued me and welcomed me with open arms.” Kuerschen claimed. The way the girls welcomed her with open arms also made Kuerschen’s choice very easy.
In just under two years she will be on the court doing what she loves. “I’m very excited for my future there and having the ability to compete at a place that I’ve looked up to since I was little. I want to create a legacy and meet new people,” Kuerschen said.
