RACE UPDATE: within the next couple of hours we will see the picture start to get more clear. Rest and speed will suddenly converge into some undeniable facts. The trail is quite apparently slow because of the snowfall received overnight.
Looking at the time on trail, Ryan Redington came in to Sawbill first, but took 4 hours and 16 minutes to arrive after running the short 34 mile trek. He would normally complete this in about three hours. Next to arrive was Colleen Wallin, currently running in second place, with a four hour 29 minute run. Matthew Schmidt came in less than one minute behind her having done it in four hours 13 minutes. These are very good teams running drastically slower paces than we would normally expect.
