App Journal 4

Youtube and CNN are easy to use apps, because their UI is intuitive, and requires little complexity to navigate/search through it. On the other hand, Twitter, Facebook, and Positivity are more complex to use because they involve more options, and some of them are not so easy to find.

App Journal 5

The app that stands out to me now is the one that will be focused on mental health. It will address the issue of the lack of information on mental health issues, and will help people with those issues connect between themselves and with a therapist. I think it will be disruptive because not so many apps focus on mental health, and it will help clients a lot.

App Journal 6

App name: Infomental

Problem: Provide information on mental health.

My app will help people with mental health/psychological/psychiatric issues, by providing information, connecting between themselves, and connecting with a qualified therapist that may be able to give them psychological/psychiatric help and/or medication, because currently there is a lack of information on mental health, and its kind of a taboo subject.

The app might make use for GPS, in order to detect where users are located globally, the camera, so that they can comunicase between themselves and with a therapist, and the touchscreen to access the multiple functions.

App Journal 8

-Users will be able to comunicate between themselves.

-Users will be able to communicate with an adequate therapist.

-GPS will track user´s location so they can connect themselves with other clients and local therapists.

-The app will offer in app purchases: such as a guided meditation for relaxation, and therapists will need to pay a fee in order to advertise themselves in the app.

App Journal 9

Positivity: it offers a guided meditation/relaxation, the UI is easy to use, but doesn´t allow for users to connect between themselves.

Mental Health First Aid: it offers info on what to do in case you suspect a person close to you has mental health issues, the UI is easy to use, but again, it doesn´t allow for users to connect between themselves.

Therapist Finder FREE: allows users to contact a nearby psychologist, UI is easy to use, but it does not allow users to connect between themselves.
