The Swastika was something important because the meaning of the flag is "Well being", or "Good fortune". I think this is why hitler had that word on it because it meant that something had money and that they were wealthy.
This was important too because it was what the Jewish had to wear wheen the war was happening. The triangles have a meaning, it means Middle East and North Africa, and it is also thought to bring good luck.
Lastly, Hitler was an important person during the war because he was the one who made the Jews wear the Star of David and he didn't see the people as people he saw them as animals. If people didn't have money or they weren't his kind then he wouldn't care for them.
