This section of the museum is particularly eye-catching. This is the area where the Asian art sculptures are kept. The garden outside gives off a very zen feeling that is calming and transcendent, which mirrors the purpose of Asian art. I also like the way the art is displayed in this section. The sculptures are placed in wooden cases with glass windows, which makes them seem more important. For example, a vase on a kitchen counter looks like a storage device, whereas a vase in a lit case seems like a work of art. All of the sculptures are pushed to the sides of this room. By designing the room this way, the garden itself is also a work of art. It is separated from the viewers by wood and glass windows, just like everything else.
