100th Day of School February 6, 2018 / Hickory Point School

The 100th day was celebrated in a variety of ways around the school. In some of the kindergarten rooms, the students (and the teacher) dressed up like they were 100 years old. It was fun to see the mustaches and gray wigs on the students! This video highlights Mrs. Posey's and Ms. Ladopoulos' class, who had a lot of fun with 100!

A variety of other activities took place to celebrate. Some activities involved stringing 100 beads on a necklace, or decorating a 100-day headband. One classroom enjoyed reading, working towards their goal of 100 minutes. The students also decorated posters with 100 items, ranging from candy dispensers to stickers. Students even found 100 ways they could be kind!
