Students created a still life drawing of four different cans using charcoal pencils.

Hyperrealism Colored Pencil Drawings

Students were introduced to current working artist CJ Hendry, who is known for her large-scale hyper-realistic-style drawings. Each student created a paint 'blob' and used it as a photo reference for their own original drawing.

Watercolor Landscape Postcards

Students were tasked with selecting three significant places from their past, present, and future to illustrate with watercolor paints.

SnapChat selfie Paintings

Students constructed their own canvases to create a SnapChat self portrait with acrylic paints.

Surrealism Final Project

Students were introduced to the Surrealist style and movement in art. Each student planned their own original piece and selected their own media as a culminating project.
