Michigan v. Ohio State High noon, saturday

My first season covering University of Michigan football as a professional sportswriter was 1997. The Wolverines beat Ohio State that year in Ann Arbor, and went on to win the national championship.

A year later, Tom Brady became the starter. Michigan lost 31-16 in Columbus. The fans stormed the field. I was surrounded by police to protect me.

Since 1998, Michigan has endured a tough time traveling to Columbus.

The last time Michigan won in Columbus was 2000.

Since coming to Ann Arbor, Jim Harbaugh is 7-2 on the road.

Sorry Urban. The tide is about to swing back in Michigan's favor this Saturday. This is the most talented team U-M has brought in years. Go blue!
