Let's Go on a Google Expedition Travel the world in virtual reality

Connect to the Wi-fi using your phone. Username and password are the ones you use to log in to your school laptop.

Download the Google Expeditions app from your app store

What you will need.......

You will need

A phone with a gyroscope and accelerometer, Android 4.4 or later OR iOS 8.0 or later, and 1GB ram

A Google Cardboard Viewer

A wi-fi connection

Getting Started

1. Download the Google Expeditions App from the google play store or the Apple App store. (Everyone will need the app)

2. Choose an expedition to download and share with students.

3. Open the Expedition

4. Have students connect to wi-fi and open Google Expeditions

5. Have students tap on Guide in the top left corner and choose Follow

6. Have students join your expedition

7. Follow the prompts to Guide the expedition

Tips and Tricks

1. Have students download the app and try connecting to the wi-fi the day before you try this with a class

2. Have students stand away from furniture and remind them not to walk around.

3. If possible, try it for the first time with a smaller class, or on a day where you have less students for some reason (Think PLAN, ACT, Class meetings, field trips etc.).
