A Message From Mrs. Pawlus
As we begin another (short) week of extended learning, there are a couple of things I want to share with you…
- Extended Learning (Short Week): Teachers have prepared lessons for this week however keep in mind that it is a short week. Spring Break begins Thursday, April 1. While the extended learning opportunities are there to support you at home, please do them as they work for you and your family. They are not meant to cause stress or tension in your household. Do what you can, when you can and at the pace that is right for you. Please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher or me with any questions you might have.
- Spring Break & Beyond: Spring Break is Thursday, April 1 – Friday, April 10. While travel is not advised, this is a great opportunity to have fun with your family while staying safe and staying home. At this point, I do not know if we will return to school after Spring Break. The Governor is expected to address the state today or early this week. At this point we will have a better idea of what the future holds for us. I am aware that there are many questions about what that means for your children. I would encourage you to take this one day at a time and trust that we are part of an incredible school district that is working to ensure learning for all no matter what that looks like. In terms of activities such as camp, graduation, kindergarten information night etc., we will work together and make the right decisions for our students and for our community as they come.
Again this time is unprecedented, we are ALL doing the best we can in these uncertain times. Please know that your families emotional well-being is what is most important to me and your family at Hill. If you need anything, please do not hesitate to reach out to us and we will continue to support you at home.
Take care! Be well!
We Miss You So Much Hill Huskies!
