Tierra Patagonia Hotel & Spa seamlessly melds into one of the most dramatic and spectacular settings on earth in the southern most region of Chile.
Overlooking Lake Sarmiento and bordering the Torres del Paine National Park which was named a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1978. The region affords guests an optimal opportunity for adventure throughout the mountains, pampas, woods, glaciers, rivers, lakes and waterfalls that surround the hotel.
Chilean Flamingoes can be seen on Lake Sarmiento, far from the Tropical lands that we usually imagine them to inhabit. Some of the other avian species you are likely to see would be the Andean Condor, Austral Parakeet, Darwin's Rhea, Long-tailed Meadowlark, Lesser Horned Owl, and the Southern Crested Caracara.
Tierra Patagonia has 3 suites, 34 Superior and 3 standard rooms, all that reflect the minimalist beauty of the surrounding environment. Suites feature a private living room upstairs with a sitting area facing the gorgeous view.
All rooms feature the same jaw dropping view of the lake and the Torres del Paine massif.
Tierra Patagonia is open from the beginning of the Chilean spring until the end of the autumn and closed during the Southern Hemisphere winter months (May - August.) The drive is 1 1/2 hours from Puerto Natales airport and 4 hours from Punta Arenas airport. Flights from Santiago to Punta Arenas are 4 hours and to Puerto Natales 5 hours. The hotel is also accessible from Cerro Castillo (30 minutes) and 4 1/2 hours from El Calafate, Argentina.
Tierra Patagonia's all-inclusive programs include, transfers, all meals, open bar, daily excursions, use of the spa facilities* (indoor pool, hydro massage, outdoor Jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms.) Only the spa services have additional costs, although when booking with South American Escapes there is a $100 Spa Credit.
