TIERRA PATAGONIA HOTEL & SPA Torres del Paine National Park

Tierra Patagonia Hotel & Spa seamlessly melds into one of the most dramatic and spectacular settings on earth in the southern most region of Chile.

Overlooking Lake Sarmiento and bordering the Torres del Paine National Park which was named a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1978. The region affords guests an optimal opportunity for adventure throughout the mountains, pampas, woods, glaciers, rivers, lakes and waterfalls that surround the hotel.

Cozy interiors inspired by the local culture, and a welcoming team are there to make you feel right at home.

Daily hikes through the mountains, pampas and glaciers are lead by experienced guides who help guests identify endemic birds, plants and animals along the way.

Take in the scenery at the "Base of the Towers." The hike is 4 hours going and 4 hours returning to the hotel.

Consult with the hotel's head guide in the beginning of your stay and select from a variety of all inclusive activities and excursions including walks, treks, horseback rides, bicycle rides and scenic tours. From October thru April fly fishing is available for an additional cost.

During October which is springtime in Chile, experience the birthing season --- when the area is filled with newborn animals such as these cute young guanacos.

Chilean Flamingoes can be seen on Lake Sarmiento, far from the Tropical lands that we usually imagine them to inhabit. Some of the other avian species you are likely to see would be the Andean Condor, Austral Parakeet, Darwin's Rhea, Long-tailed Meadowlark, Lesser Horned Owl, and the Southern Crested Caracara.
