Queen Elizabeth II Biography project

Queen Elizabeth was born on April 21, 1926. Queen Elizabeth is the current queen in England. She is 90 years old. She is also the queen of 12 countries that became independent since her accession and the Head of the Commonwealth. During her grandfather's reign, Elizabeth was third in the line of succession to the throne, behind her uncle Edward, Prince of Wales, and her father, the Duke of York.

Elizabeth soon started taking on other public duties. Appointed colonel-in-chief of the Grenadier Guards by her father, Elizabeth made her first public appearance inspecting the troops in 1942. She also began to accompany her parents on official visits within Britain. Her father and mother, also known as the Duke and Duchess of York, divided their time between a home in London and Royal Lodge, the family's home on the grounds of Windsor Great Park. Elizabeth, nicknamed Lilibet, and her younger sister Margaret were educated at home by tutors. Academic courses included French, mathematics and history, with dancing, singing and art lessons undertaken as well.

Early Life

During her lifetime she has done a lot of things. One thing she has done is survived World War II, she was princess and alongside her younger sister, she performed in a lot of pantomimes during the second world war.

She is a queen so it is common for her to receive a lot of mail, she has answered more than three million of items. Also, she has received a lot of unusual gifts like living animals.

One of her qualities is that she has reigned more than 12 countries. She also overtook Queen Victoria to become Britain's longest reigning monarch. She was interested on technology. She wanted to incorporate new media into the spectacles of her accession.


She has a lot of power and I admire her. I always wanted to meet her but that is impossible, just certain people get to meet her in person.

the second Elizabeth wins hands down on quantity. Her current Majesty is very likely the most portrayed woman on the planet. Her head, by law, has been on every British stamp since she ascended the throne.

In conclusion, Queen Elizabeth II is really famous around the world. Not only the U.K, she is a roll model for lots of people and she motivates people too. She has visited countries and cities that no other king or queen has visited before. In Britain, stamps by law have her head; since she ascended the throne.

I choose this person because I admire her and one day would be awesome to meet her but that is impossible. I also think she is a good woman xdxd
