The Han Dynasty's most lasting contribution is clearly its Economy.

The Han Dynasty started the silk road, a giant trading hub spanning from China to Rome. The silk road led to a spread of culture and wealth all over Asia. With the creation of the Silk Road, resources from far away lands appeared. With silk being popular in Rome, and other goods such as glass, gold, silver, and wool being traded as well.
