Progeria Eathan Smith Period 4

Progeria is a genetic disease that causes rapid growth at a young age.

Little cases have been found with this genetic disorder, less that 1000 a year in the world.

The ages that are affected the most range from 2-10, but there are cases around the world that have been seen in 19-20 years old.

Progeria gets its name from the a Greek saying that states "Prematurely odd".

The condition doesn't just age by looks, it ages your body so your body is growing to fast to keep healthy so it can be very fatal.

Having Progeria will affect your body to have age spots and things you would normally see in an elder as a child.
