Student Mental Health Symposium
On April 17th the students and staff at the South Peace Campus will be engaging in a day of learning about Mental Health and Wellness. We have planned over 45 different presentations and activities for students and staff to participate on April 17th. The event will be started off with a Keynote Address from former NHL hockey player Jordin Tootoo.
We are excited by the opportunity this day of learning has for our students and have received a lot of support and encouragement for the event throughout the community. Students will be provided lunch and snacks on the day of the Mental Health Summit, and they will have the opportunity to be entered into a variety of draws for door prizes for attending the event.
If you have any questions about the event or if you would like to volunteer at the event please contact the school at 250-782-5585
All proceeds from this event will go towards supporting student athletes with their fees to play sports at DCSS and towards sending teams to Provincial Championships.
Tickets for the Athletics Fundraiser event are also available through www.ticketsinthepeace.com. We will also have some tickets available for sale through the office at the school. If you would like to reserve tickets please call the school at 250-782-5585 today!
