Poop FOuntain Review by Chad LeVier

The main three characters in Poop Fountain are Lyle, Marilla, and Dave. They are all on the search to find something incredible to do that nobody else can say they have done.

The setting is in a rural small town in a mountainous region of the United States. They live in a trailer park on the outskirts of town.

One day in school, they found a magazine article that told of the waste water treatment center in town being shut down. Christmas day was soon approaching and they realized it was the perfect day to go because no one was going to be there. The book is titled Poop Fountain because when the water is being treated it looks like it is shooting out of a fountain.

When they are not at home, they like to hang out at the local gas station that Lyle's parents both work at. This is where they constructed the map that lead them to their destination on the day of the adventure.

I could personally relate very well to this book and I enjoyed it while I was reading. It brought back some of the incredible adventures I've embarked on as a young teen and even some that happened in the near past. I would recommend this book to others who are looking to get away from reality for a little while and go back to a time when life was simpler.
