The red fox can live in many different habitats which included's forests, grasslands, mountains, and deserts.

A red fox live up to 2 – 4 years

The vixen (female fox) is sexually mature at about ten months of age. Her estrus period is three days, but her courtship by the dog (male fox) will last many days. Red foxes are monogamous and mate for life. The mating process last up to between 15 to 20 minutes.
Red foxes are highly adept hunters, and have the necessary senses to help them in their endeavors. Their senses of smell, vision and hearing are all strong. Red foxes are capable of picking up on low Smells.
Red foxes do not form packs; they are either solitary animals or live in pairs.
Red foxes are solitary hunters who feed on rodents, rabbits, birds, and other small animals. Foxes will eat fruit and vegetables, fish, frogs, and even worms. If living among humans, foxes will probably dine on garbage and pet food.

Although foxes are the smallest members of the dog family, the largest species of Red fox may reach an adult weight of 3 – 11 kilograms
