The beauty of choosing PhotoHunter is the freedom to select the environment that you and your family are comfortable with for your unique photoshoot, which we discuss during the free consultation session prior to booking with us. Options for your photoshoot include studio PhotoHunter, outdoors or even in your own home. Home environments produce great results with the warmth and love that a family home offers. Studio PhotoHunter is based at Redland Bay and is comfortably air conditioned with many lighting options and backdrops.
Sharing photos with our children can open their hearts to the past and present as they find connection with their own story that family photos can tell. A sense of belonging is so important and can be found when looking back on family photos of family ancestors. Family photos are a timeless gift of history that can be passed down through generations to come. The perfect gift.

POSING IS EASY
Most of us cringe at the idea of posing for photos, but you can relax with PhotoHunter. If you are not a natural or you have not been practicing your amazing smile in front of the mirror, leave it up to us. This will not be a snap and go experience. We are passionate about our photography and want the best for you. We will have you feeling comfortable and confident in no time, working the lighting and angles to give you the natural image you are looking for.

CLOTHING
What should I wear?
Feel free to bring a range of different options for clothing. Its recommended that you wear something you are comfortable in, if you're not comfortable, it will show in the photo. Be as fancy or casual as you please and let's have some fun with it. Coordinating your colors is highly recommended and discussed at the time of our discovery session.
Bold colours are recommended to keep the focus on your face. We suggest you bring a range of different colours and necklines, textures. If you have any doubt about whether something will work or not just bring it along. Ensure you're groomed to the best you can even if it means getting your hair and make-up done for the shoot which all plays an important role to create a picture perfect image. Remember this image lasts a lifetime so making that extra effort will be noticed.
SCHEDULING AND PAYMENTS
We are available for shooting 7 days a week for family shoots and we usually begin our sessions around 6am as the sunrise shots are spectacular. Be aware that the sessions time does not include hair and makeup. We do ask that you be flexible with time and allow a minimum of 1.5 hours and allow plenty of time for a longer session to ensure a stress-free quality experience.
A non-refundable deposit of $150 is required to book your session time and the remaining no later than your session booking date. Please be advised that your session booking will be forfeited if payment is not received by this time.
