Feast Learning how to cook and how to reduce food waste

Students spend each Thursday afternoon learning skills that will see them through life!

The first recipe we prepared was a cold recipe - Peach Parfait! Many of the students had never had parfait before and they were very excited to try it!

Students had to follow a recipe, measure out their ingredients and create their parfait from scratch.

Learning how to use a can opener

We used GREEK yoghurt! Most students had never tasted greek yoghurt before and there were mixed reviews about the taste!!

We had help from 3 wonderful OZ Harvest volunteers!
Then we got to eat!!
