How was the Cold War effected by the Space Race? By: Ray zhang anD Aryan SINgH

The USA and the USSR don't want to start a war. So they had a race to space. The space race had affected the cold war in many ways. In fact the space race wasn't the fact of going into space and exploring it. The space race was to only intimidate the other side, and to show them how advanced their own tech were. The space race was another field they could compete in. So really the space race was driven by the cold war.
