Addie May Headley CreATED BY JESSICA BURDEN

Addie May Headley was born in Indiana, in 1884. She is considered an "old" immigrant because her family has been in Indiana for generations. (Meaning they were native to Indiana.) She was a housewife and her husband, Howard Shimp Burden was a farmer. They did not fight in the Civil war.

They lived in a rural area and she may have used the windmill or the mechanical reaper. If she had to of joined a workers union, I believe she would have joined the "Ladies Garment Workers Union."
