Hi everyone, my name is Mabel. I am sure you have seen on FB the commercial with the car that pulls to the side of road, lets the dog out, and drives away while the dog watches sadly as the car speeds down the road - well, can you believe that is what happened to me!
Luckily a jogger saw what took place and immediately called the New Richmond police who then brought me to GGOH. I just don't understand why my human did not want me anymore. No one has claimed me so I am now looking for a new home.
I am a well mannered, middle aged girl. I don't have much to say. I won't jump up and put my muddy paws on your work clothes (although I do like to have a cookie now and then).
I do not pull on the leash and I listen well. I can do "sit" and "down" on command, love car rides, and would enjoy daily walks in the park if you can make time for that for me.
All I ask for is a secure yard, kind words, gentle ear rubs, a soft pillow for a bed (or a couch, I like those, too!), daily walks, and an occasional treat for a job well done. I'm looking for my new forever home - please come meet me.
