National Hispanic Heritage Month is September 15 to October 15! During this month, we recognize the contributions to and influence of Hispanic Americans on the history, culture, and achievements of the United States.
Community School Coordinators at Lincoln, Marvine, William Penn, and Northeast MS are collaborating on a virtual celebration, and we'd love participation from our community. We are planning to create an online platform to showcase videos to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month through different topics like music, food, cultural traditions, and, more important than ever, the voices of Hispanic residents and their experiences.
Contact any of the coordinators for more information and to submit their videos (5-10 minutes). We will make sure to help with editing and uploading to the platform. The final product will be available to the public on October 10th.
Wondering how to be part of the Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration? Check out this video and feel free to share on social media.
