Earthquakes By: Nina, Zenia and Avelino Mrs. Zamora's Period 2 Wednesday 12/21

How does changing the ground affect the seismic waves that occur?

If the scientists change the way the ground is elevating then it would change the types of surface waves that occur because if the ground is moving up and down then a Rayleigh wave would be shaking the ground.
Testing The scientists are stopping the earthquake machine to record the data.
Fixing A scientist is modifying the earthquake machine to keep the seismograph in place while the machine is shaking.
