5th & 6th Grade
What an incredible school year with the 5&6th grade students. They were asked to adjust a few times this year, much like all of us! The past few months have been full of Zoom hangouts and Bible studies. We were able to cover some different themes over the past few months, like how to live a life of worship, not just looking at music as worship, but what are ways that we can worship God in all things we do that can bring honor to Him! We also have recently finished a series on forgiveness! That’s a topic that some of the students have an easy time forgiving one another and themselves, while there are others that are already having struggles forgiving someone that has sinned against them. It’s also been a new season of some students jumping into their first ever Bible study. They have been soaking up God’s word like dry sponges in a puddle of water! Overall, It’s been a really great year! We have had fantastic volunteers that have dug deep and continued to serve selflessly throughout the entire year. With that, school is out and we are pressing pause on our regular 5&6th grade youth group time for the next few months! We will have a few times where we might be able to get together and have a time of seeing each other while physical distancing. Details will be on the Facebook page along with a new service call BAND. Click here for more information on that and to join the 5&6th grade BAND group. If you are a new 5th grade parent and would like to join our Facebook group you can do so by clicking here. We will have the new 5th graders joining us in August sometime, look for details for a meet and greet for parents and new 5th graders coming in August as well!
Thanks for having your students involved in what Jesus is doing in and through our youth group!

7th - 12th Grade
Well we are at the end of another school year and this year unlike many others has been anything but usual! I want to congratulate the graduation class of 2020! What an incredible group of young men and women that have persevered through uncharted territory! The last few months have been insanely good for our youth group when it comes to leading them into their faith in Jesus and some even discovering it in a deeper way by doing Bible studies along with regularly attending the youth group! We have had students and leaders that have read and studied James, Esther and Mark over the past few months! They have just finished up a series called FREE PEOPLE! It’s focused on what Paul was encouraging the Galatians about their freedom in CHRIST! We will continue to meet throughout the summer by the bonfire pit physically distancing and walking through a series called Justice to start the summer off on June 10th at 7pm! If you haven’t already, join our FACEBOOK PAGE and our new communication platform called BAND. I want to extend a BIG THANK YOU to all the parents and leaders from this school year and especially the ones who encouraged their teen to join us on Wednesday nights for our Zoom youth group!
