Birmingham City Students' Union
A challenging project that involved refurbishing a boring white cube and turning it into a stunning new cafe bar that packed loads of WOW! factor. Introduce food to the concept by installing a full commercial kitchen into the small space that was formerly the cellar. Total capital spend £190k.
Kent Union Park Wood Hub
£2.9m capital project to develop a student hub in the Park Wood residential area on campus. The new building includes Woody's (an iconic bar with a lot of heritage,) Essentials shop, two dance studios, a lettings agency, quiet study area, chill out lounge, and three terraces.
