A Long Way Gone Ch. 20-21 Joe Weigleb 3-2-17

The scene is memorable to me because its the first time he ever experienced snow.

A lot of people look to the shy for answers, religious and not, so I think that he wanted help and looking for anything that would help him.

He would write that he misses his family and his culture. He'd write that the conference was a really good experience and that he met another storyteller that knew some of Sierra Leone's stories and experienced his first winter and had to keep his body from cracking apart from the cold.
