The cheetah runs a total speed of 68-75
Cheetahs can't maintain high speed for long so hunts are only successful half the time. They only eat fresh meat so usually gorge themselves and quick as they are prey to Lions and Hyenas stealing their food.
Cheetahs are mostly found in sub-Saharan Africa and in eastern and southern African parks.
They like dry, open grasslands where they can pick up speed to kill prey.
Cheetahs mostly eat hoofed mammals, such as gazelles and young wildebeest. They also eat smaller game when food is scarce, such as birds, hares and warthogs.
A male cheetah will stay with a female for 2 to 3 days, mating three to five times a day.
The average life span in captivity is 10-12 years though cheetahs can live as long as 20 years.
Some of their enemies are lions, leopards, hyenas, vultures and also jackals and some wild dogs.
these fossils are about three million years old.
The Cheetah is not one of the Great Cats, because it does not have a floating Hyoid bone in its neck it can not roar, therefore it is a Lesser Cat.
