The overall population of Georgia is 10,450,316. Also if you are traveling to Georgia it would take approximately twelve hours and forty-two minutes depending on where you live.

The sate of Georgia was founded by James Oglethorpe on February 12, 1733. It was also one of the last 13 colonies formed. During the civil war Georgia was a buffer zone, then later became a state in 1788. Georgia was nick-named the peach state because the growers produced high quality fruit. Martian Luther King Jr. was born in Atlanta on January 15,1929. Atlanta also hosted the 1996 Olympics.
