Gator Gazette Volume 1 Issue 7

February is the month of love.

Love is the most powerful force in our world. Love is the one thing that we can freely give to others endlessly. Love can change everything. Throughout my life, I have learned some very important lessons about love.

  1. Show love and kindness to the unlovable and unkind ...they need it the most.
  2. Loving others means forgiving others...even when they don’t always deserve it.
  3. Loving others means believing in them and their potential. Be someone’s cheerleader and celebrate their successes, both big and small.
  4. Love others despite their mistakes and failures. We all mess up. None of us are perfect.
  5. Love never fails.

Some of the people I love most of all are in this very building...my Gator family. I am blessed beyond measure to share each day with our precious students, amazing educators, and selfless staff.

Put a little love in your heart...and the hearts of others. Tell someone (or several someones) you love them. Give out a few (or many) hugs. Share a smile with others everywhere you go.

One of my favorite quotes is, At the end of life, our questions are very simple: Did I live fully? Did I love well? - Jack Kornfield

Big Hugs and Lots of Love - Beth & Troy

Club Spotlight: Jr. Beta

Jr. Beta is a club that recognizes students who excel academically, behaviorally, and demonstrate leadership qualities. The club motto is “Lead by serving others.” Our Betas do just that. They meet once per month to work on various service projects including Helping Hands, Backpack Blessings, The Haven, Children’s Healthcare Centers of Atlanta, and many more. They volunteer their time daily in running our school’s food program, Helping Hands. They've learned to have fun while serving their fellow students.
