Ocean Paradise Resort- Opened December 2016
The Ocean Riviera Paradise is a new five-star resort located on the seafront in the Playa del Carmen area of the Riviera Maya. The resort is noteworthy for its size and the extensive selection of services on offer. It boasts spectacular swimming pools, exclusive Junior Suites and Suites, a wide range of cuisine, a Despacio Spa Centre, Privilege, Exclusive Rooms and Services, a Dive It! diving centre and a great choice of entertainment for the whole family.
The hotel is divided into four areas:
Daisy: for families with children.
Privilege: an exclusive section with VIP services.
Edén: an area closer to the beach with rooms that have direct access to a swimming pool.
El Beso: an area for over-18s.
Buildings and Rooms
Daisy Building and Children's Area
Daisy Buildings, have either 2 queen or 1 king bed and a queen sofa sleeper. Occupancy is 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults and 1 child but they will accommodate 2 adults and 3 children. Cribs and strollers are available for not extra charge. Daisy has it's own pool and snack bar. Kids club is for 4-12 years old and there is a teen club.
All rooms are over 500 sq ft. Connecting rooms in the Eden section can be booked through one tour operator. Rooms service is from 11 AM - 11pm in all categories except the Privilege Building.
Privilege building has own restaurant that includes lobster. Also, 24 hr rooms service.
Lobby, Plaza and Restaurants
Route 66 is open all night for food an beverage. Sukura is the only restaurant that needs reservations for the Japanese table. Some restaurants have outside and inside menus.
There are other restaurants and shops before the Eden building. There is a large buffet restaurant by the beach. There will be a Casino opening in by February 2017.
The Beach is very walk-able up and down the cost and is a 5 mile walk to Playa via the beach.
