Loan Forgiveness Program for Classroom Teachers

The Undergraduate Loan Forgiveness Program is available to all classroom teachers in districts eligible to participate in the Rural Teacher Recruitment and Retention Initiative (RRI) pursuant to FY20 Proviso 1A.54. Williston School District is a 2019-20 participant in the RRI. The Program gives classroom teachers the opportunity to apply for up to $5,000 to be used to help pay down undergraduate loan balances.

Classroom teachers who wish to apply must complete the application and all required documentation must be delivered to CERRA between June 15, 2020 and August 7, 2020.

Applications and required documentation delivered before June 15, 2020, or after August 7, 2020, will not be considered.
