#10 - Allatoona High School

The Buccaneers enter the 2021 season after posting a 7-1 record in 2020. Last season was highlighted by a quadruple overtime game loss to Walton and a 2-0 finish at the King of Spring tournament in Raleigh, NC.

Key players to watch for the Bucs in 2021 are Sean Byrne (G), Zach Stopher (D), and Adam Piejak (M). Byrne has held the starting spot since his freshman season and is closing in on 400 career saves. Allatoona will host the Turner Cockrell Lacrosse Classic where they will have a day of lacrosse and the proceeds will go to Turners Heroes as well as the Turner J. Cockrell Scholar Athlete Award. These games are scheduled for 3/20/2021 at Allatoona High School

#9 - The Lovett School

The Lions finished 2020 with a final record of 4-3. Highlights from last year include a 1-1 trip to Florida where Lovett dropped a close 12-11 contest to Lake Highland Prep and a 15-8 win over Montverde Academy.

Russell Overly (D) is poised for a great season with the Lions as he will be the key guy on the defensive side of the ball. Similar to R. Overly, Charlie Hoke (SSDM) will take charge of the midfield defense. On the offensive half, William Overly (A) will be the man leading the way for the Lions attack.

#8 - Starr's Mill High School

The Panthers 2020 season ended after playing the most games in Georgia at 10-0 with key wins over North Paulding, Johns Creek and South Forsyth. The Panthers will miss their graduating Face Off man Garrett Mueninck (Mercer) who graduated as the State's Leader in Face Off Wins.

The Panthers return 6 Senior starters who are playing NCAA Lacrosse next year. At attack Luke Rusterucci and Gabe Lopez will lead this group and the team as Senior Captains. On Defense the Panthers will be returning three seniors who have been starters since their sophomore year, Rhett Jones, Eric Fewell, and Eric Rausch. Shane Kelly rounds out the senior committed group at the midfield.

#7 - Milton High School

The 2020 season for the Eagles finished with a tight 12-11 win over Blessed Trinity to give Milton a 6-2 record on the year. The Eagles return a large senior class and hope their four-game win streak to end 2020 will give them momentum in the new season.

Getting tested early will be key for Milton as they lean on Brett Fruehauf (M), Robert Hicks (A), Brice Thompson (D), and James Brands (D) to lead the Eagles in 2021 after losing their top two scorers from last season. Milton opens at home against the Knights of Centennial High School.

#6 - Lambert High School

The 2020 season for the Longhorns was highlighted by a 5-2 record; with their two losses coming by one goal each. After graduating several key players, the coaching staff is confident in the returners to pick up where they left off in 2020.

With Patrick Dean (D) graduating and heading off to Johns Hopkins, the defensive efforts will be led by senior Robert Fenters (LSM) and sophomore Liam Sweeney (D). Between the lines, the Longhorns return seniors Will Mangold (M) and Tanner Overbay (M). On the offensive half, senior Drew Kotanian (A) and sophomore Evan Suh (A) will be the go-to guys for Lambert in the 2021 season.
