Jason Aldine Williams was born in Macon, Georgia, in 1977. People most commonly know him as Jason Aldean. He attended Windsor Academy, where he was a star of the baseball team.
Instead of taking an athletic scholarship in college he decided to pursue music.
Although he was raised in Macon, he would spend his summers in Homestead, Florida, with his dad.
Jason Aldean first performed at age 14 at the VFW post on Harrison Road.
On August 11th, 2017, the street in front of Navicent Health was named “Jason Aldean Way.”
At the 2006 Academy of Country Music Awards, Jason Aldean was named Top New Male Vocalist.
He won Entertainer of the Year in 2015, 2016, and 2017.
Some of his top albums include “Night Train,” “Old Boots, New Dirt,” and “They Don’t Know.”
On September 6, 2018 he performed at the Macon Coliseum for his third “Concert For The Kids.”
All the proceeds from the concert went to the Beverly Knight Olson’s Children Hospital.
