Kansas is known for its flat land for farming different crops. The land rises more than 3,000 feet from eastern to western Kansas.
Oil is a natural resource of Kansas. Other natural resources in Kansas include: salt, petroleum, natural gas, sand, and gravel.
Monument Rocks is a tourist spot because there are many fossils for people to look at. Another main tourist spot in Kansas is Cheyenne Bottoms, people come from all over to hunt different birds here.
There is an airplane manufacture in Wichita, Kansas. They make several different planes to fly all over the world. The biggest manufacturing good Kansas has is wheat. We farm more wheat than any other state.
Amelia Earhart was fromAitchison, Kansas. She's a famous Kansan because she was the first women to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. Dwight D. Eishenhower was from Abilene, Kansas and he became the 34th President of the United States of America.
