Yom HaShoah 5777 זכור

Jewish children resisted by drawing and expressing themselves through art. This was painted in Theresienstadt, a camp in Czechoslovakia.
Hannah Senesh wrote "Eli Eli" as a poem called "Walking to Caesarea" when she moved to the Land of Israel as a young woman. She later secretly parachuted into Yugoslavia to try and rescue Hungarian Jews during the Holocaust.
Artwork from Theresienstadt. Even under the worst of circumstances, Jews continued to believe, hope, draw, write, celebrate holidays, talk about the future.
We always hope and pray for a brighter and better future.
