Brenna Mazzoni "Sometimes I Paint my face"

"I have a Bachelors in Fine Arts, Painting to be exact. So I'm used to painting, except now I paint on my face."-Brenna Mazzoni

Graffiti Inspired- Brenna has always loved graffiti for how colorful it is.

Brenna mazzoni says, " I love transforming myself, and face painting allows me to do that. I'm constantly inspired by the artists I follow, the art I see, and the characters I love."

Brenna includes her sons in her some of her projects, and gets many of her ideas from them and their favorite characters and super heroes. Brenna and her family live in Port Charlotte, Florida and are huge Disney world goers.
Brenna is married to her husband of eleven years and has two boys named Bradley (8) and Bryson(6). Brenna is a stay at home mother and paints while her children are at school.

Brenna is a self taught makeup artist and mommy of two who enjoys transforming into different characters. She purchased her first professional face paint kit only a year ago! Before becoming well known for her work, Brennas favorite thing to do was go to cosplay events and blow people away with her talent!

Brenna Mazzoni didn't only paint on her face, she was also very skilled at painting her face, literally. As she attended Art school, She practiced painting daily, but she realized her passion was not transforming a blank sheet of paper, it was transforming herself that truly brought her happiness.

Brenna and her husband Brian.

Brenna says Brian hates dressing up but sometimes he will let her transform him.

This evil, zombielike ,Joker transformation seen on Brennas instagram page @artbymazz, was featured on Buzzfeed's 21 Halloween Makeup Before-And-Afters That’ll Blow Your Mind "Boo hoo HOLY HELL WHAT IS THAT."

Brenna Mazzoni gets a kick out of the peculiar and the creepy. She practices special effects on her hands such as faking bubbling, bleeding skin, and even makes it appear as if part of her hand were only bone. On the left, Brenna creates the illusion that part of her arm is missing, and only her veins show (they spell out her husbands name "Brian."

Achieving the right look can be a time-consuming process, particularly if the make-up includes special effects as seen here where parts of Brenna's neck and face seem to be missing and fake wrinkles are applied to reveal the pumpkin face paint.
Brenna was highly influenced by Rose Ellen Swanson, an artists who paints emotional paintings of women.
